SUMMARY:Powning Addition Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Discover one of Reno’s earliest and most delightful vernacular neighborhoods\, predominantly settled by Northern Italian immigrants. This neighborhood is the first City of Reno Conservation District. Meet in front of the McKinley Arts & Culture Center\, 925 Riverside Drive. Guide: Amy Burton \nPlease arrive 15 minutes early to check in and sign our liability waiver. (A copy of the waiver can be found here.) Wear comfortable shoes\, and bring a hat\, sunglasses\, and water bottle in warm weather. No dogs\, walkers\, baby strollers\, or bicycles allowed. \nWalks generally last 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Please note\, some neighborhoods may have uneven walking surfaces and sidewalk barriers\, which may make it difficult for people with mobility issues.
