SUMMARY:The Other Side of the Street Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Perhaps you’ve done the Mansions on the Bluff and DeLongchamps walk but how about the houses on the other side of Court\, Ridge\, California and Arlington? Distinctive architecturally styled homes line these quiet streets where many of Reno’s families lived\, some for over 50 years. Today the neighborhood is a blend of family homes along with businesses. Meet at the southwest corner of Arlington and Court. Tour guide: Pat Cantwell. \nPlease arrive 15 minutes early to check in and sign our liability waiver. (A copy of the waiver can be found here.) Wear comfortable shoes\, and bring a hat\, sunglasses\, and water bottle in warm weather. No dogs\, walkers\, baby strollers\, or bicycles allowed. \nWalks generally last 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Please note\, some neighborhoods may have uneven walking surfaces and sidewalk barriers\, which may make it difficult for people with mobility issues.
