Architectural Elements is a series of architectural history-focused articles by ZoAnn Campana which first appeared in FootPrints, beginning with the Summer issue of 2017.
ZoAnn Campana is the principal architectural historian for Kautz Environmental Consultants, Inc. Ms. Campana has experience in the public and private sector of historic preservation practice. Ms. Campana worked as an architectural historian and historic preservation consultant for the Nevada State Historic Preservation Office and the City of Reno. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Historic Reno Preservation Society and Preserve Nevada and is a former commissioner for the City of Reno Historical Resources Commission. As an adjunct faculty member of the Anthropology Department at the University of Nevada, Reno, she taught a biennial World Architecture course to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students.
